Türkiye’s defense sector has made significant strides, as evidenced by five of its companies securing spots in the 2026 global Top 100 defense companies ranking. This achievement underscores the nation’s expanding capabilities in defense manufacturing and exports. Among these, ASELSAN emerged as the highest-ranking Turkish company, climbing to 40th place from its previous position at 43rd. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) followed closely in 48th place, while ARCA Defense made its debut in the ranking at 53rd.
Roketsan also showed progress, advancing from 71st to 64th, and MKE secured the 81st spot. Collectively, these five companies generated an impressive $14.9 billion in defense revenue in 2025. ASELSAN led with $4.46 billion in revenue, followed by TAI with $3.65 billion, ARCA Defense with $3 billion, Roketsan with $2.37 billion, and MKE with $1.42 billion. This financial success highlights the robust growth and international demand for Turkish defense products.
The expansion of Türkiye’s defense industry encompasses various sectors, including military electronics, aerospace, missile systems, and ammunition, alongside other advanced technologies.
